F A Q

WHAT'S THE PROCESS?

Bucktooth Gems use a totally safe method of application - we fit gems in the same way a brace is fit; by prepping the enamel, ensuring the safety of the tooth and securing the gem with dental composite.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

You must be 18+ to have a gem applied at Bucktooth Gems

HOW LONG WILL MY GEMS LAST?

We recommend your gems will last from 2 months to a year. HOWEVER many of our gems stay put much longer and can last until safely removed!

HOW DO I HAVE MY GEMS REMOVED?

Tooth gems must be safely removed by your dentist or oral hygienist during a scale and polish. Let your dentist know you require a tooth gem removal prior to your scale and polish to ensure their practice accommodates removals! Bucktooth Gems has hygienist recommendations in Manchester - we can always put you in touch with a practice that can remove your gems safely!

VENEERS AND COMPOSITE BONDING

Gems can only be applied to natural teeth, if you have veneers or composite bonding we cannot apply gems to the affected teeth.

PRODUCTS

Bucktooth Gems ONLY use lead free Swarovski and Preciosa Crystals. Our yellow and white gold is all 22k. Our diamond selection is 1CT. We exclusively use premium products to ensure maximum safety and longevity! For this reason we will not apply gems purchased outside Bucktooth Gems under any circumstance.

HOW DO I DECIDE?

The best place to see examples of our work is on Instagram! If you're still unsure, get in touch. We can hep you with pricing, working to a budget and allow time for a short consultation with every appointment. Message ahead if you are unsure and we can allow for more time!

GOLD & WHITE GOLD

Before booking in for gold tooth jewellery application, please message ahead to reserve or order your piece. A 50% deposit is required to secure your jewellery, which is taken off the total cost of your appointment on the day.

AFTERCARE & ORAL HYGIENE

It's crucial to keep up with oral hygiene with or without gems! We recommend brushing over your gems twice a day with a soft bristle brush. Keep up with your regular dentist and hygienist appointments as usual and always have your gems safely removed.
